Factory era — 1985 to 1987
One of the original sixteen cars built by Roush/Protofab to Bob Riley's design, #015 debuted in IMSA GTO in 1985 in the hands of Lyn St. James, Bruce Jenner and Scott Pruett. That September, St. James drove it to victory in the Serengeti 500 at Watkins Glen — the first woman to win an IMSA GT race driving solo. In 1986 it won the 12 Hours of Sebring on the way to the IMSA GT Endurance Championship, then opened 1987 with a GTO-class win at the 24 Hours of Daytona — one of Roush's run of nine straight GT-class victories there.
